Is my image uploaded?
The image is read by this page and processed in a browser worker. It is not uploaded. The OCR engine and English model are fetched from a public CDN on first use, then may be cached by your browser.
What does this first release recognize?
This release is tuned for printed English text. Handwriting, tables, unusual fonts, low contrast, and rotated images can produce mistakes. Always review the result.
What image limits apply?
PNG, JPG, JPEG, and WebP images up to 15 MB are accepted. OCR speed depends on image dimensions and device memory.
How do I copy English text from a screenshot?
Choose or paste a PNG, JPG, JPEG, or WebP image, then run OCR. The tool recognizes printed English; review and edit the result before copying it or downloading a TXT file.
