Favicon generator FAQ
Is my image uploaded?
No. A selected image is read by this browser tab and is not uploaded or stored by the tool. Site-level advertising requests are separate from icon rendering.
Which sizes should I download?
Use 16, 32, and 48 pixels for browser and desktop contexts; 180 for Apple touch; and 192 or 512 for installable web-app icons. Your site may need a different manifest policy.
Can I create an icon without a logo?
Yes. Text and emoji sources are useful for prototypes, personal projects, temporary pages, or a quick placeholder while a brand mark is being designed.
